Linkages between national government departments and between different levels of government are weak in these countries. CoFCCA has successfully raised awareness on forests and climate change adaptation in Central Africa and has helped the region to be perceived as having high potential on mitigation issues. The report provides an account of progress on fulfillment of project objectives, key project research activities, adaptation strategies, and an overview of collaborating partners.enFORESTSRIVER BASINSFOREST POLICYFOREST CONSERVATIONDEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGOCENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLICCAMEROONCAPACITY BUILDINGSOUTH OF SAHARACLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATIONCONGO BASINSHARED NATURAL RESOURCESAltering the climate of poverty under climate change in Sub-Saharan Africa : setting priorities and strategies for adaptation with the forests to climate; end of the project report, March 2008 – July 2011IDRC Final Report
