Vannaro, PinTara, Pin2014-01-282014-01-282013http://hdl.handle.net/10625/52386Annex 1 of the Final technical reportThe project resulted in design of a distance learning training program for farmers that utilized a community centre network (Informatics for Rural Empowerment and Community Health, or iREACH) as learning centres, as well as mobile phones for instructor-learner interaction, formative assessment of learning, and learner support. Instructors from the Chea Sim University of Kamchaymar (CSUK) designed and developed five multimedia learning modules with the assistance of iREACH staff. Results indicate that distance education training is as effective as face-to-face training in helping farmers to adopt new practices and begin new activities they learn about during the training.Text1 digital file (32 p.)Application/pdfenFARMERSDISTANCE STUDYNON-FORMAL EDUCATIONINFORMATION TECHNOLOGYICTCAMBODIA--KAMCHAI MEAR DISTRICTCAMBODIA--PREY VENG PROVINCEOpenness and quality in Asian distance education : sub-project 1; the effectiveness of different distance learning approaches to a non-formal course for farmers in Kamchai Mear district, Prey Veng province, CambodiaIDRC Final Report
