In Nigeria, public and private organizations and individuals have recognized the need for prioritization of freedom of information across domains. However, this has not been the case in government and civil rule. The government has not established a practical interface between ICT use and human rights, particularly in terms of freedom of information and privacy. Legal and regulatory frameworks are still in their infancy.
