The programme facilitates learning about information and communication technologies (ICTs) for gender equality. GEM provides a systematic method to evaluate whether ICTs are improving women's lives and gender-power relations. The amount of work and income from consultancies that APC staff completed increased by about 10% (2010 to 2011).
