In a manufacturing sector like the Vietnamese auto/motor industry, the issue of localization is a key question. Using production networks for a case study, a representative sample survey of 100 firms in automotive related industries was conducted. Given the importance of the motorcycle industry in a context like Vietnam, the project directs more attention and research efforts on this sub-sector.Text50 p. : ill.enNETWORKSAUTOMOBILE INDUSTRYINNOVATIONMOTORCYCLESTECHNOLOGY TRANSFERVIET NAMDEVELOPMENT RESEARCHSTATISTICAL ANALYSISTRAININGFOREIGN INVESTMENTFAR EAST ASIAINTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTSSCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICYLearning via networking with multinationals : closing the knowledge gap in small developing economy; the study of Vietnamese motor (auto) industrial sector, final technical report of projectIDRC Final Report
