At the learning group and organizational levels, participants valued opportunities to reflect on their experiences together. At the individual level participants acquired: new knowledge and skills on participatory development approaches; increased confidence in carrying out work in CBNRM; and recognition of multiple perspectives of various stakeholders. ALL in CBNRM contributed to improvements in policy and governance, as well as to the ecological conservation of NRM field sites.
