A breakdown by sector and size shows that very large increases in productivity occurred generally across the Ghanaian manufacturing sector. There were substantial increases in labour productivity measured both by output per employee and value-added per employee. Wages in large firms employing more than 100 people more than doubled for all categories of workers.Text1 digital file (22 p. : ill.)enINDUSTRIAL CENSUSESGHANALARGE SCALE INDUSTRYMEDIUM ENTERPRISESECONOMIC REFORMMACROECONOMICSWAGE DETERMINATIONMANUFACTURINGSOUTH OF SAHARAMACROECONOMICSManufacturing firms in Ghana: comparing the 1987 and 2003 censusesIDRC-Related Report
