The American University of Beirut Tobacco Control Research Group embarked on a project to build knowledge and public support for tobacco control policy in Lebanon and to develop common agendas and priorities for tobacco control among researchers in the region. Following a concerted advocacy campaign, the group was able to disseminate research evidence and inform the policymaking process.
