Analyses based on the 16S rRNA and secA genes identify a new phytoplasma subgroup associated with a lethal yellowing-type disease of coconut in Côte d’Ivoire. The phytoplasma identified was further characterized based on the sequences of the 16S rRNA and secA genes. Results support possibility of disease spread from the neighbouring Ghana, posing a threat for the Ivorian coconut industry.1 digital file (2 p. : ill.)Application/pdfenPHYLOGENYCOCONUTRFLPCAPE SAINT PAUL WILT DISEASEGENETIC MARKERSCOCNUT LETHAL YELLOWING DISEASEDISEASE CONTROLPLANT DISEASESPALMSCOTE D'IVOIRESOUTH OF SAHARAAnalyses based on the 16S rRNA and secA genes identify a new phytoplasma subgroup associated with a lethal yellowing-type disease of coconut in Côte d’IvoireJournal Article (peer-reviewed)
