The presentation addresses the quality of jobs being created in the Egyptian economy. Among wage and salary workers, most good jobs have contracts, paid vacations and paid sick leave and all offer regular employment. Poor jobs have virtually none of the above features and are mostly irregular. A comparison is drawn between public and private sector employment, as well as trends over time.1 digital file (41 p. : ill.)application/pdfenLABOUR MARKETJOB QUALITYWAGE DETERMINATIONEMPLOYMENTUNEMPLOYMENTPRIVATE SECTORQUALITY OF LIFEEGYPTMIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICAMENAMIDDLE EASTDynamics of job quality in Egypt : what are the good jobs and who gets them?; a 1998-2006 comparisonPresentation
