The broad themes addressed are: ·traditional theories and taxonomies for explaining health, illness & for selecting treatments and understanding outcomes ·public health dimensions of traditional medicine that merit investigation and evaluation ·priority diseases, such as malaria and HIV/AIDS, as well as common illnesses of importance to the general public, and some of the potential for further work in these areas.Text1 digital file (52 p.)enCOMPLEMENTARY THERAPIESPUBLIC HEALTHMEDICINE--TRADITIONALMEDICINE--AYURVEDICMEDICINE--CHINESE TRADITIONALMALARIAHIVAIDSHEALTH-CARE DELIVERYPerspectives on the evaluation of traditional medicineConference Paper
