This study calls for the development of strategies that will ensure constant supply and more effective utilisation of health inputs, better staff remuneration and training, enhancement of hospital capacities, and better servicing of hospital equipment and machines. Better management of available resources and planning, with built-in monitoring and evaluation procedures are required to promote public health sector efficiency. In the longer term, more fundamental issues relating to both technical and economic efficiency need to be addressed.Text1 digital file (25 p.)Application/pdfenDELIVERY OF HEALTH CARESOUTH OF SAHARAACCESS TO HEALTH CAREECONOMETRIC ANALYSISACCOUNTABILITYGOVERNMENT ROLEHEALTH ADMINISTRATIONKENYANIGERIAAssessing efficiency in Kenya's public health sector with insights from NigeriaIDRC-Related Report
