It surfaced recent trends, gaps, emerging areas and critical questions in the field to inform a future research agenda. A key finding is that research initiatives framed around feminist methodology go beyond gender-disaggregated data to centre on a larger politics of change, including power dynamics in terms of race, class, and other intersectional factors. The project prioritised research work in middle and low-income countries with a ‘global South’ perspective. The report provides project milestones and key findings.application/pdfenGENDER INCLUSIONGENDER ROLESINTERNETFEMINISMACCESS TO ICTINFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT)WOMEN’S RIGHTSKNOWLEDGE PRODUCTIONDIGITAL INCLUSIONNETWORKSINFORMATION SOCIETYACTIVISMHUMAN RIGHTSLOW AND MIDDLE INCOME COUNTRIESGLOBAL SOUTHFinal technical report : mapping gender and the information societyFinal Technical Report
