The government has established climate change cells in each ministry to incentivize climate mainstreaming across sectors and policies. Many initiatives have been implemented to prepare for climate change impacts. As well, climate risks are integrated into national development plans. Climate change remains to be mainstreamed into sectors related to forestry, fisheries, health, and gender.
