Based on the net present value (NPV) decision rule, results indicate that dike options should be recommended as an appropriate adaptation measure for the Vietnamese Mekong Delta (VMD)’s particular geographic situation. Of the dike alternatives applicable to the VMD, initially small-scale dikes that can be subsequently heightened should be a priority choice.Text1 digital file (64 p. : ill.)enVIET NAMSEA LEVEL RISEMEKONG RIVER DELTASEA DIKEFLOODINGINUNDATIONCLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATIONECONOMIC EVALUATIONENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONCOASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENTSALINIZATIONFAR EAST ASIAAdaptation to sea level rise in the Vietnamese Mekong River Delta : should a sea dike be built?Book
