The Initiative aimed to highlight knowledge gaps and implementation barriers, as well as opportunities and entry points to apply human rights-based approaches to promote healthy diets, identifying priority areas in research and policy where additional support is needed. The HRHD Initiative created a unique opportunity to bring government, civil society organizations and academia together, build networks and improve the understanding of the added value of a human rights-based approach to the development and implementation of food policies and thereby increase the chances that such an approach is adopted.application/pdfenHUMAN RIGHTS APPROACHFOOD SYSTEMSFOOD POLICYKENYATANZANIAUGANDASOUTH OF SAHARAHuman rights and healthy diet research support initiative - Synthesis reportSynthesis Report
