Women farmers were highly motivated for the value addition of products and development of new market linkages. Participation was over 60% in project activities related to improved practices such as the modification of mill efficiency. The success of the project was marked by the organization of an International workshop on “Promoting small millets for improved rural economy and food security” where 200 delegates representing six states attended.
