In line with Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority’s (PSIRA) strategic objective of seeking to fully understand the private security industry and respond to its needs and challenges, it is critical that a comparative study on the industry, which includes states beyond South Africa, be conducted. Countries studied were Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Swaziland.
