As the National Health Information System policy is revised, aspects of the Nigeria Evidence-based Health System Initiative (NEHSI) approach are being integrated into policy, especially the social audit and community surveillance system. The NEHSI project clearly demonstrates that strengthening the health information system contributes to strengthening the entire health system. This document explains how the planning phase contributed to the design, and provides an overview of key NEHSI principles.Text1 digital file (21 p. : ill.)application/pdfenSOUTH OF SAHARAHEALTH SYSTEMNIGERIADECISION MAKINGDATA COLLECTIONPRIMARY HEALTH CAREE-HEALTHNON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONSMATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTHHEALTH CARE DELIVERYBuilding a culture of evidence-based planning : a process document; the Nigeria Evidence-based Health System Initiative (NEHSI) approach in Bauchi and Cross River StatesPolicy Brief
