The program contributed to the professional development of thirty promising scholars, over half of them based in the South. Nearly all respondents (93%) indicated that participation in the program helped them develop their professional network, and 83% believed it helped them become a better researcher. The program, workshop, and conference structures are analyzed from the perspectives of both mentors and mentees.
