The program contributed to the professional development of thirty promising scholars, over half of them based in the South. Nearly all respondents (93%) indicated that participation in the program helped them develop their professional network, and 83% believed it helped them become a better researcher. The program, workshop, and conference structures are analyzed from the perspectives of both mentors and mentees. Increasing the time and volume of mentor/mentee interactions - before, during and after the conference - will enhance capacity building.Text1 digital file (35 p. : ill.)application/pdfenRESEARCH CAPACITYICTICT4DCAPACITY BUILDINGHUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENTPEER TEACHINGRESEARCH WORKERSICTD2012 Peer Mentorship Program and Workshop : Report to the IDRC; final technical reportFinal Technical Report
