Evaluation of the IPI serves to inform decision-making regarding the future of this pilot initiative. Findings show that compared to peer-to-peer contacts, the consortia-to-consortia level relationships are more formalized in structure, and enable interactions across the organization (including other international partners that might be part of a larger consortium), rather than with an individual researcher. Over a longer period, activities such as knowledge-sharing and joint projects are expected to contribute to economic and social impacts.Text1 digital file (28 p.)enEVALUATIONRESEARCH NETWORKSDEVELOPMENT RESEARCHPROGRAMME EVALUATIONRESEARCH CAPACITYPARTNERSHIPPROGRAMME PLANNINGPROJECT FINANCINGFORMATIVE EVALUATIONDATA ANALYSISCOOPERATION BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONSINTERNATIONAL COOPERATIONEvaluation of the Networks of Centres of Excellence, International Partnership Initiative (IPI) : final reportIDRC Evaluation Report
