Howard, Ian2007-11-132007-11-132007http://hdl.handle.net/10625/34870At a series of four workshops (Zanzibar, South Africa, Senegal and Morocco), 130 people were trained to build wireless networks. The purpose of this survey (see Appendix 4) was to assess medium- to- longer- term outcomes of the training. The response rate was high at 94 participants. Most helpful aspects of the workshops were cited as the networking/community element, and the practical training experience using low-cost materials and free software, allowing for easy replication.1 digital file (25 p. : ill.)application/pdfenEVALUATIONSURVEYSCONNECTIVITYWIRELESSINTERNETNETWORKSPROJECT ASSESSMENTSOUTH OF SAHARAReport on participants' evaluation of wireless training workshops : capacity building for community wireless connectivity in AfricaIDRC-Related Report
