dc.description.abstractThis is the final technical report for the Open Business Models - Latin America project. It covers the development of the project 2006-2007, encompassing both the development of the research and the respective dissemination efforts. The project development took place in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico and Nigeria; two institutions worked together; the Center of Technology and Society of Fundação Getulio Vargas, and the Instituto Overmundo. Findings from the research contribute to the development of cultural production in developing countries, based on a more critical view, and taking into account the challenges faced in the mainstream cultural industry.en
