dc.description.abstractKey policy statements for policy, strategy, and master plan for UbuntuNet were adopted by the Board at its 12th meeting hosted by Tertiary Education and Research Network of South Africa (TENET) in Johannesburg, giving direction and scope to the activities of the UbuntuNet Alliance; the next issue of NUANCE will provide more detail, highlighting other foundational documents. NUANCE presents news from National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), along with updates on events and initiatives within the UbuntuNet Alliance which is the regional backbone network that interconnects NRENs, connecting them to other regional networks. The newsletter presents information, updates and events.en
