The paper provides updates and information about the ongoing and/or planned reforms/changes in the health sector and the policymaking process in various government, research and civil society organizations affiliated with the Ugandan health system. For policies passed by the Ministry of Health, the process of formation and promulgation is consultative and follows a participatory approach. The paper reviews how draft policies are generated and submitted to various government bodies.en
