dc.description.abstractThe planning meeting objectives were to identify and elaborate the components of a 2-year strategic plan for the Caribbean ICT Stakeholders Virtual Community (CIVIC) to address the challenges of advocacy, governance, participation, regional collaboration, knowledge production, capacity building and sustainability; and to understand the process and roles in policy development; recognize and understand ICT policy issues, and link ICT policies and sectoral policies. A training session covered web tools, presentation of the CIVIC platform, automatic translation, tips and techniques.en
