This study was undertaken from 22 February to 5 March 1993 within the framework of the Ministry of Energy's project "Promotion of LPG Use in Ghana". The study was undertaken to identify the specific reasons for the early destruction of the burner and other problems related to the regulating unit of the compact cookers. The findings would guide policy decisions on the compact cookers in the near future for the benefit of LPG users.en
