Abstract
A two day International Workshop on Peace and Development brought together researchers and academics from Canada, USA, Africa, Asia and South America. On the National level, the meeting was presided over by the Minister of Public Service and Labour of Rwanda and the executive secretary of the Governance Advisory Council of Rwanda (GAC). The discussions followed three major themes and six country case studies: Rwanda, Mozambique, Lebanon, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Sudan. Information generated from the workshop will facilitate peace processes, and help inform and improve policy in individual countries.
