dc.description.abstractThis learning evaluation is part of the process to produce practical guidelines for the establishment of a sustainable network of multipurpose community telecentres (MCT) in Philippine barangays and, in the short term, to provide an input for decisions regarding the extension of the project and follow-up activities. The Philippine MCT project piloted the concept of rural development using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Among important outcomes, the project has successfully coordinated various government agencies towards the installation of four telecentres in Mindanao. Transcripts from centre interviews are provided.en
