Meeting: Cases, Concepts and Connections : the Influence of Research on Public Policy; Evaluation Workshop, 24-25 Mar. 2003, IDRC Auditorium, Ottawa, ON, CAen
As part of a larger study on policy influence, the IDRC commissioned a series of case studies in the Acacia program in four African countries: Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa and Uganda. Acacia focused on the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for development. Fifteen projects compare types of policy influence, the means and mechanisms used, and the contextual factors across countries in order to identify commonalities and unique aspects from which future lessons can be drawn.en
