dc.description.abstractThe Centre for Basic Research (CBR) acknowledges that young graduates who have prior training in research methods have not been able to conduct research without supervision. Hence this short training programme included a three-day Capacity Building Training Workshop aimed at training participants to conceptualize and conduct research on their own. Junior researchers were expected to write concept papers, conduct research and write up a report within a period of 4 weeks. Issues including gender in research were given a special focus.en
