dc.description.abstractThe Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (STEPRI) of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has initiated a series of dialogues on biotechnology tools, processes and products. Since the application of biotechnology in agriculture has generated much controversy, the paper looks at agriculture in Ghana with regard to issues in biotechnology and genetically modified organisms (GMOs), including policy formation.
