Abstract
Compares fish densities, biomass and productions for five tropical rainforest streams of the Baram River with a recent study of temperate fish taxocenes in tributaries of Grand River, Ontario, and Nida River, Poland. Examines the relationship between production and community structure, and evaluates the influence of hydrological characteristics on fish production and community structure.
