Abstract
Study on the use of radio by the government for the social development and economic development of Jamaica. Discusses the history of radio development, economic conditions, economic policy and economic growth from 1930 to 1970, political development, political system and the constitutions from 1930 to 1970, development policy and the private ownership and public ownership of radio stations, content analysis of government produced broadcasting and political aspects of nonreserved broadcasting time. Bibliography, statistical data.
