Abstract
This evaluation report reviews a three-year health equity project in India. The project examined social and economic inequalities, specifically focusing on capturing health and health care inequity. Achievements of the Project are: (i) the collaborative nature of the initiative; (ii) bringing together a diverse range of personnel cutting across public/private institutions, civil society activists, academics from universities and research institutions, policy makers, and (iii) the motivation of students and young researchers. The evaluation provides details of the scope of the project, aims, methodology, outcomes and outputs, covering successes and challenges.
