Abstract

The cyber policy center, Centro Latam Digital (CLD) is currently conducting research on misinformation, data protection and privacy, online work and education, including the gender gap, in online labor markets in the context of the Covid-19 crisis. The aim is to provide knowledge to policy makers who are facing the ongoing challenge of introducing effective policies and public services in response to the pandemic. This detailed report covers activities, outputs and outcomes of the past two years. CLD plays a critical role in shaping evidence-based digital policy that supports human rights, democracy, social inclusion and economic development at the local, national and regional levels.
