Strengthening the evidence-base for open government in developing countries : final technical report
Abstract
The aim of the project was to strengthen the ability of the Open Data Working Group of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) to support joint learning between governments and civil society to implement and enhance open data initiatives in developing countries, strengthening the evidence-base for open government. The report outlines progress on activities carried out during the course of the project. The main accomplishment was development of the Open Data Charter for OGP member nations for use as a foundation for achieving stronger, and more measurable Open Data commitments in national action plans.
