It must happen : Teddy's story
Abstract
Teddy recounts her experiences growing up impoverished in Uganda, becoming sponsored as a child by an overseas donor, meeting the challenges of obtaining an education, earning a Master’s degree from Makere University, and finally applying for a PhD programme at the University of Calgary (Canada). Even though she was not accepted in Canada, she proceeds to apply to the University of Mbarara Science and Technology Programme, because through her commitment to the fullest education “it must happen.”
