Abstract
The briefing note describes the parameters for a conference towards better understanding the context of scientific evidence/information, and to impart scientific knowledge for effective drug prevention, control measures and policy making in Sri Lanka. This event would help support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. Draft guidelines on the development of a scientific evidence-based national drug policy will be reviewed.
