Abstract
This presentation by ParCA to the International Research Initiative on Adaptation to Climate Change (IRIACC) focuses on the theme of “advancing knowledge.” It acknowledges that governance is vital to adaptation actions as institutional adaptation is part of adaptive capacity for climate change programming. Future action, activities and events that can shape policy and practice are discussed, as well as network partnerships. ParCA (the Partnership for Canada-Caribbean Community Climate Change Adaptation) is a five-year interdisciplinary project that integrates climate change science and local knowledge in four study sites across Canada and the Caribbean.
