dc.description.abstract Canadians abroad are a major asset for Canada’s international affairs. The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada initiated the Canadians Abroad Project as part of a policy research consortium. The report aims to better understand the policy implications of a Canadian diaspora that is nearly a tenth the size of the total population; 2.8 million Canadians live abroad. It addresses demographic information, citizenship, voting rights, taxation and other policy implications and issues. en
