Abstract

This research synthesis report aims to map regional issues and compile policy measures and research questions for Cambodia and its region. The region has made rapid progress in economic integration and an unprecedented surge in free trade agreements (FTAs) which represent both opportunities and challenges. Broadly outlined recommendations include: Maintain sound macroeconomic management; Improve the investment climate; Invest in human capital; Synchronise regional cooperation frameworks; Effectively address trade policy constraints.
