Abstract
The Enhanced Homestead Food Production (EHFP) approach works with women as focal points in households to increase production and availability of micronutrient-rich food. It increases homestead agricultural production through improved husbandry skills (poultry) and sustainable aquaculture, with fish hatcheries in each district. Gender analysis is conducted in each local context. Unequal decision-making processes related to production and consumption of nutritious food, asset control, and income expenditure are topics of education and discussion. The presentation provides an overview of how the project works, with opportunities for feedback.
