Abstract

Undernutrition remains a problem in Cambodia; 1 in 3 children (32%) under five years old experiences stunted growth. The project has developed, tested, refined and scaled up an integrated food production and nutrition behavior change program, in collaboration with private sector, government actors and communities. The presentation outlines the process of implementation, including targeting of participant households, with community meetings to provide clear information on the village Model Farm. The scaling up of aquaculture is outlined, and tables show results of the project. Local fish hatcheries have proven to be sustainable enterprises, producing and selling large numbers of fingerlings.
