Abstract:
There are a number of issues in open research and sharing of data. Proper sharing of data means protecting confidentiality and privacy of respondents; creating infrastructure for sharing (for example the server, archival repository); developing necessary documentation for supporting data users (how to use data sets); and having personnel to respond to inquiries by data users along the way. Executing a sharing protocol requires resources, which need to be budgeted for. The report provides a data management plan in the Appendix, which was developed for a specific project but can also serve as a template for other projects.
