Abstract
The Côte d’Ivoire Lethal Yellowing disease (CILY) project’s extension component allows for sharing and identifying practical solutions for managing the disease. This paper reviews a plant clinic and training event attended by local farmers and a second extension method, “Going Public” (GP) involving farmers, extension workers and researchers. Plant clinics and GP can bring together all three groups to make real progress in tackling this deadly disease. Recommendations are made towards improving knowledge sharing at future workshops. The paper provides images as well as extension materials and data collection documents.
