Abstract
Côte d'Ivoire lethal yellowing (CILY) has impacted farmers' family nutrition and limited women’s income in Grand-Lahou. It was anticipated that CILY would decimate the Ivorian coconut grove by 2020 if prompt actions were not taken. Therefore, the general objective of the research was to provide and communicate new needed information to allow authorities, policy makers, stakeholders and farmers to better control CILY. The overall progress of project implementation and outcomes contributed to provide that information, which became innovative knowledge contributions and gender-responsive solutions to engage famers, stakeholders and policy makers in addressing the disease problem.
