Abstract

SJI’s programming areas in organic agriculture were consolidated to ensure long-term project sustainability and facilitate upscaling. Key project outputs include a baseline profile of the district undertaken by the SJI, comprehensive case studies of all organic agriculture pilot impact areas, farmer-to-farmer training approach, finalization of the organic agriculture database (ORD) of the district, and a working paper summarizing the project. An integral part of the research component has been to develop research capacity among Bhutanese staff. This report focuses on achievements, activities, outputs, and outcomes in relation to a 16-month extension period. Appendices contain project documents over four years.
