Abstract
This is the first study investigating the costs of smoking in Cambodia. Both primary and secondary data were collected for this research to provide scientific evidence of direct and indirect health-related costs attributable to smoking, in support of development and implementation of tobacco control policies and legislation in Cambodia. Research publication, and dissemination of research findings, along with pictorial health warnings, and smoke-free environment campaigns would strengthen further enforcement of tobacco legislation in Cambodia.
