Abstract
The objective was the collaboration between Chile’s Consejo Nacional de Innovación para el Desarrollo (CNID) and Canada’s Science, Technology and Innovation Council (STIC) in organizing the First Meeting of the Global Network of National Councils for Science, Technology and Innovation. This report includes the background paper “Innovation Promotion Authorities: What do National Portrayals Tell About Innovation Policy” as well as a review of activities, outcomes papers produced by the collaboration, and project outputs. Appendices include a detailed table of international institutes and related science bodies: “Public Entities Performing Main Functions in National Institutes of Science (NIS)”
